When the eyewitnesses of the Lord Jesus Christ gathered on Pentecost, they were already one in mind and purpose “one accord in prayer and supplication...”1 “one accord in one place”2.
So why did they need the Holy Spirit then? Why do Christ’s disciples need it now? Was it for strength to resist temptations? A fix when we get depressed? To fortify our weak points? Personal security gear?
As traced from Scripture by Raul de Asis-Hipe during the message on Pentecost (Shavuot), May 19, the mandate which the LORD God set forth with Israel during the first Shavuot after being freed from bondage...
“Surely I have taught you statutes and judgments, just as the LORD my God commanded me, that you should act according to them in the land which you go to possess.
“Therefore be careful to observe them; for this is your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the peoples who will hear all these statutes, and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.” –Deuteronomy 4:5-6 (NKJV, ©1982 Thomas Nelson, Inc.)
...was reconnected by the Lord Jesus Christ to His followers before He returned to the Father:
“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”–Acts 1:8

During the Interactive Bible Study on April 24, we reached our 25th count in the 50 days to Pentecost...
“Please share with us what you have gone through or are going through in the 50-day count in the following FIVE AREAS which represent a wide scale of the experiences of growth, learning, renewal, advancement, exciting revelations, overcoming difficulties/obstacles in our journey to the kingdom of God; through the EFFORT we need to put forth in fulfilling our part in God's plan of salvation...”
1) Know, Prove & Live the Truth - 2Tim 2:15 2) Prayer Life - I Thess. 5:17 3) Watch and Be Ready - Matt. 24:42-44 4) Keep The Commandments - Matt. 19:17 5) Part In God's Work - Matt. 24:45-47
As much as you can, please support your testimony with Scripture...”
“Am learning what it means to truly believe... Finding that forgiveness and healing undergo the same process... Usually we easily SAY that we truly BELIEVE GOD, but how tangible is our faith?...
Learning what it means to seek GOD’s will...and not to have to wonder about what God’s will is, when GOD has already shown that it is His will, that we be forgiven, or we be healed...
Learning how to claim GOD’s promises, especially the more we hear the diagnoses and assessments of medical experts regarding the condition of the baby in my womb...
Addressing the need to attend to the needs and questions of our children every single day, because the influences of society continue to wear out the foundation that we are working to build...
When our mind is full of doubt, fear, anxiety, we will really find it difficult to keep God’s commandments, like the apostle Paul, we should not run with uncertainty... our belief being different from our actions... ” –Mrs. Vivian Hipe
“Through all troubles that come and continue to weigh heavy on me all these years, instead of being bitter I concentrate on strengthening daily life of family and home... –Mrs. Miadely Perona
–Mrs. Marissa Flores
“Ito yung taon na bilang ama, it is really very difficult, and I really am amazed and appreciate how my wife is so strong...Even after personally consulting all the noted experts in high-risk pregnancies, I realized na wala talaga silang kasagutan, man with all the knowledge and technology and current research, everyone is driven to the point where we are totally helpless and have to stand face to face with GOD...
Mas lalong nabigyan ng focus ang pagpapahalaga kung paano natin dapat itaguyod ang buhay natin at mag-focus sa mga bagay na sinabi nga ni apostle Paul to be diligent in...nagiging fully dependent , karaniwan ang pinag-aaralan ay yung mga doctrines pero ngayon ko nakikita na ang simple words of gratitude to GOD nabibigyan ko ng application...during adversities dun natin nabubuksan yung sarili sa mga basics sa harap ng Panginoon... –Mr. Raul de Asis-Hipe
“My aunt used to say that Passover is the time for being cleansed, and this was the year I experienced that. Because part of my life was compartmentalized, shut off, coming to the Sabbath became a routine, habang sa kabilang banda pinipilit ako ng mga ka-eskwela na um-attend ng class pag Saturday, sige punta na nga ako para walang problema. –Justine Mencias
Natutunan ko patuloy na magpray sa Panginoon at sa huli sasagutin at mhheal, sa Matthew 17 ang sabi, Jesus said “If you have faith as a mustard seed...nothing will be impossible...” –Ralph Ian David Hipe
Sabi ng writer ng Ecclesiastes, “...Nothing is better for a man than that he should eat and drink, and that his soul should enjoy good in his labor...” (",)
–Kharis Arielle Ann Hipe
Hindi lang pagbabasa ng word of God, kundi “meditate day and night,” so the word doesn’t just stay in the head but goes to the heart... saka paggawa para lumayo-layo ang kasalanan...
When we are really part of the body of Christ, when one part hurts we feel it ... –Mrs. Ofelia Limpoco-Magat
Be watchful of the plans that we make in a way that we abide in GOD so the Father and His Son will make our abode with us... –Mr. Juan Gabriel Cardona
I consider it that on another ‘bonus year’ GOD has given me the privilege to witness the freedom of each believer, from growing children, young adults stumbling yet striving to obey, adults still being perfected, to testify from God’s word with their own life...
When you are truly nurtured in God’s word, you can listen to public speakers, read anything, even eminent commentaries, and detect the chaff from the grain; talk to anyone, and give a sure answer; be convicted and sure in our heart of hearts to be able to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ...
Just because prayers are answered in the direction we hope does not mean that when they are not, there is a change in our faith or the purpose of our life...
There are certain purposes and persons, who will have to pass through the crucible, extremely difficult passages in life which show “sufficient unto you is My grace,” and we will be brought to say, “NEVERTHELESS...” which should always steer us toward GOD... and realize what eternity is worth... –Mrs. Priscilla Cardona
People keep trying to invent their own way apart from what GOD has said, and in the work that I do, people who come from prosperous non-christian cultures keep prevailing on me to “eat pork, eat seafood...”
I myself had to make choices... Habang tumatagal na-rrealize ko nayung commandments, hindi lang sya basta confined sa single area ng buhay at a time, but it encompasses every motivation and decision. When you look at the choosing, it’s not that easy to make a choice... nag-iincrease talaga yung sorrow natin as we continue to know, prove and live the truth... But the sorrow can be turned to positive work so that it tests us to see ourselves... –Gina Constantino

“Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy...
What is it about this day, specifically prepared by the CREATOR for the physical and spiritual well-being of His creation, MAN, that we the beneficiaries IGNORE?
In the Sabbath message of April 3 during the Passover Feast, Raul de Asis-Hipe showed from Scripture how the written command itself shows the purpose of the Sabbath resistant to any man-made restriction, whether those who refuse to partake of its blessings by continuing to do their own thing, or the layered restrictions imposed by religious bodies which just as well detract from the Sabbath’s purpose ...
How did the Lord Jesus, Christ of God, the first to triumph over death, recall and remind believers of the purpose of the Sabbath? In what way did he reveal the liberty this day carried, the healing from sickness and deliverance from every form of bondage, that of the Enemy that keeps the mind bound in darkness of the lie?

How has the value of life sunk so low when the ultimate sacrifice and blood-price has been paid by the Almighty Father, who, in love so beyond human comprehending, gave His ONLY Son, who shed His precious blood that ANYONE who believes might LIVE!*
As brought out in the message during the start of the Passover Feast, beginning the seven days of eating Unleavened Bread and taking the leaven out of our lives, our elder Raul de Asis-Hipe reminded us that far from being confined to Egyptian history, or any tyrannical regime since, SLAVERY now takes all forms of material promises, to which participants willingly offer themselves, later wanting to break free, yet unable and even not wanting to break free, grasping it, seeing no other hope...
Should the disposable value put on life today cause us to resign to unseen taskmasters who take hostage of our mind and attach a price tag to each human life with utility even lower than animals? Is there a call that rings true across time and space calling out to each human being ever born, to break free?
CLICK ON THE LINK BELOW to listen to the podcast or download the encompassing call available to EVERY human being, from the Almighty Eternal GOD, who made man “fearfully and wonderfully,” breathed the only physical life through which He could work the glorious gift of eternity...

In temperate Occidental countries, spring is the time when sunlight brightens the home and fresh air blows in after a long winter spell. As the days become longer, the light and fresh air reveals what has not been noticed during the dark, cold days of winter. In warmer Oriental climates like ours in the Philippines, we don’t have the luxury of “springtime”; instead, we have this long, hot, dusty, and dry period, which is now exacerbated by the El Niño weather phenomenon.
In both cases, our houses are a mess and it’s not fun to see the clutter and dirt that needs to be cleaned around the house, but the more light and air flow in, the more motivated you are to do some spring cleaning (“summer” cleaning in our case). As we approach the Passover, now is the time to cleanse our homes from leavening products and to “purge out the old leaven” so to speak.
Romans 13:11-13 11 And do this, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now our salvation is nearer than when we first believed. 12 The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. 13 Let us walk properly, as in the day, not in revelry and drunkenness, not in lewdness and lust, not in strife and envy.
While spring cleaning your house or dwelling place is important, it is essential to also clean our own spiritual house, our mind, which resides in our own physical house, the body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[a] and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Here are six (6) practical ways in which we can clean our houses, both physical and spiritual:
