“Zambales Trip 2009” - Ralph and Arielle Hipe had the whole blue sky above them when they went home with their father and mother to Botolan for a week, so even if ricefields were covered with sand and mud, and the shallow pool from which horses used to drink is now a widened riverbed carved by the rushing current, their grandmother Nanay Lilian Deboma, gathered all her grandchildren who were, just yesterday it seems, babies passed from one pair of loving arms to another.
