The Power of an Endless Life: Interactive Bible Study, Feast of Tabernacles 2011

The Power of an Endless Life: Interactive Bible Study, Feast of Tabernacles 2011 (video) - as derived by Gilbert and Ann Deboma from the Feast theme: “What is your understanding of the phrase "power of an endless life" (Hebrews 7:16) that God will share in His Kingdom? What are you doing and not doing in this present life that will prepare you for that power of an endless life?...”

Take That Leaven Out

“Take Leaven Out!” (video) - From God’s word, and in music, the Feast after Passover partaking, remembering the consistent intricate work of de-leavening ourselves then leavening with the kingdom of God, for how the Almighty “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life...”

Am I Prepared For The Passover?

Am I prepared for the Passover?Exodus 12 (King James Authorized Version 1611)

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,

2This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

3Speak ye unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

4And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

5Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: ye shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

6And ye shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

7And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

8And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

9Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the purtenance thereof.

10And ye shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remaineth of it until the morning ye shall burn with fire.

11And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.

Luke 22 (King James Authorized Version 1611)
7Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

8And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

9And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

10And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

11And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

12And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

13And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

To be asked “Are you prepared for the Passover?” may hurt the ears of those who “just take everything as it comes...” or a yawn from smugs who assume what we know or have experienced of Passover in the past will suffice as preparation to partake of it this year. But, as Raul de Asis-Hipe illustrated from Scripture during the Sabbath of April 2, 2011, To ‘make ready,’ ‘preparation day,’ ‘prepare,’ is more connected to the Passover feast than to any other feast of the LORD GOD... not even that other feasts are to be less-prepared for. We can never be casual about Passover or treat it like a date on the calendar to be present in, behave soberly, then cross it out.  Kung kailan nandyan na ay saka magkukumahog. Learning from the well-defined instructions to the Israelites (Exodus 12) to the sequence of how the Lord Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God, prepared for the Passover way ahead of time (Luke 22) even while fully aware He was to be the sacrifice for all our sins, shows us what the imperative is behind each step in preparing the most critical element for partaking the Passover — ourselves.

Click on the link below to listen to or download the MP3 audio file to see from Scripture how each step in preparing for the Passover provokes stark questions to ask ourselves, Have I prepared? Am I ready to partake of the emblems of the sacrifice of   Him who laid down all that we might live?...
